The engine breather kit is easy to install, it prevents crankcase fumes and oil vapors from entering the air intake of your Yamaha engine. Increases horsepower by removing the engine's requirement to burn relatively non-combustible oil.

Also improves intercooler efficiency by preventing oil sludge coating which reduces thermal efficiency. Excess oil vapor is routed to our translucent canister where it condenses and accumulates for occasional draining via a built-in faucet valve.

Features anti-slip reservoir foam to control oil movement. Kit includes breather filter and aluminum mounting bracket along with all necessary hardware and installation instructions.

Use and maintenance:
The engine oil level should be at or just below the halfway mark on the dipstick.
Follow the proper engine oil level inspection procedure outlined in the owner's manual.
Check and drain the drain pan if necessary.
Do not use harsh chemicals to clean the Catch Can (acetone, carburetor cleaner, brake cleaner, etc.).
